HEALTH AND SAFETY
At Trace, health and safety is our priority and our objective is Zero Incidents. We developed our program based on the Enform Basic Safety Program (IRP Volume 9) and we adopt, promote and exercise the “Petroleum Industry Guiding Principles For Worker Safety”. In 2009, we obtained our Certificate of Recognition (COR) (Trace Certificate) and we are registered with both the ISNetworld (www.isnetworld.com) and ComplyWorks (www.complyworks.com) contractor management systems.
At Trace, we believe in providing world class training to our people. All field personnel are trained in the following: H2S Alive; ground disturbance (Level II); transportation of dangerous goods (TDG); workplace hazardous material information system (WHMIS); standard first aid and CPR; petroleum safety training (PST); and our Trace corporate health and safety orientation.
At Trace we provide our people with all of the required health and safety equipment and clothing and provide extensive on-the-job training. To recognize exceptional performance each branch office presents a health and safety award to the people that have made an outstanding contribution to our health and safety culture.
